No knock at the door 

The police came barging in 

Breonna Tayor was caught in the war 

Bullets were flying through the wind 

The family pleaded for justice 

After people saw the video, in their hearts they saw what they could not deny  

Forward are where situations like these thrust us 

The protestors had a fiery passion in their eyes 

The council ruled that use of the warrant was banned  

Murder was the courts rendering  

When the news broke people could finally stand 

The situation was as just as breaking and entering  

Hers wasn’t the only case like this in May

This needs to stop happening every day
