Recipe Poem

Got a RECIPE for how to be a good friend, letting go, or finding yourself? You can choose any subject as long as you format your poem as a recipe.

Guidelines

  • Your work must be 100% original.
  • One submission per student.
  • No more than 20 lines.
  • Please refrain from graphic violence, sexual situations, and unwarranted profanity (please email Ms. Mustafah [email protected] if you have questions about your content before submitting).
  • Absolutely no…
    • Racist, sexist, homophobic, ableist, and other marginalizing language or content.
  • Please include a brief statement of inspiration for your piece: How did the idea come to you?

FORMATTING YOUR PIECE:

  • Include your full name, title of piece, your year of graduation.
  • Google Doc or Word Document (no pdfs, please)
  • 12-point font, preferably Times New Roman
  • Proofread and polished
