City of balance
Secretive society
They walk up and tell me of its sanctioned roots and I hang my head dry and say it is true.
They walk up and tell me many thieves have stolen the rich metals from this land and i hang my head and say it is true
They walk up to me and say your leaders fall ill or get killed and I hang my head and say it is true.
They tell me how in a split second nearly half of the population went from bone to ash from a malicious snap and i hang my head dry and say it’s true
I’ve seen the rogue terrorists and the violent, world conquering aliens take many things away from our homeland and take valuable, suitable energy
Having answered all of those who laugh and backhand my country I turn back and ask them if they have a country that grows and helps its citizens by sharing resources and natural tech. Filled with people who are immersed in its own culture and also leaders who make sure my country is safe.
Actioned packed
Planning,
Building,
Protecting
Saving, Playing, working
I see our animalistic savior stalking the cowardly and the superstitious lot on the sidelines.
I see our robots serving, glitching and handling guest
I notice our young pupils getting the proper education thanks to their glorious king
I can highlight the times where our nation united with foreigners to defeat mad titans.
All of these hopeful examples make me laugh in front of those who oppose this place
No matter how many times our home falls in great peril, We will rebuild, protect and reserve in the ashes fighting the injustices among us. Our glorious titles will us up.
The New Chicago

Full of beautiful sightings for the world
Downtown,an nice long river
The home of the Chicago theater
City of Windy,chilly,and snowy
City of the magnificent tall buildings
They tell me to stay away from Chicago these bad parts where everything ¨bad¨ occurs and that I can get hurt
And they tell me that it’s best to live in the suburbs where it’s a better place
And they tell me that you are violent and my reply is:I have knowledge of other places in this world that are much worse than this.
For those who bring such hate and stereotypes, I just want to say
Come and tell me the pro’s and con’s so we can elaborate.
Tell me how yours is this beauty and mine is nothing
but “crime”.
And last but not least show me the things you have told me so there’s prove to what you claim to be hardworking,
Caringness
Excitement
Raking
Preparation
Business
Creating, building
Under all the smoke, there’s still the sun that reminds us of a new day
Under all the hardships still they rise up and and try again because they see quitting is never the answer
With never quitting,joy, and reminders
They live and try to seize the every moment as possible
But if we all come to one another and bring peace we can all say we’re from

Olympus
by Addison Trotter
Lovers of the world,
Bright, Huge and full of pliers,
Puppeteers of Humans and Masters of Life;
Heaven, Busy and Lust,
The Land of the Gods.
They tell me You all are lustful, and I can’t agree more. I’ve heard how You talk about women and men.
Flirts of the world, The poor souls.
And they tell me You are warriors and I say: Yes, the wars are what rumbles the earth and sky; But You kill more than needed.
They tell me You are cunning and my answer I say: Yes, You have millions falling on their knees for You, I have seen castles made for You.
Yet they are glorious and engulfing in beauty. So I tell them how beautiful and generous You are.
If they turn their backs to me,
I’ll say to them:
Name me another God who basks in this beauty more than them. Show me more grander temples and structures. They have made world games just for You.
Rumbling Wars,
Beautiful nympts,
deities,
Under the covers,
Love within the family,
While Sibling on Sibling might have children, they are still basking in their beauty.
Under the terrible burden of lies and deceit, there is love and light.
Bright even if the clouds are rumbling with anger,
Bright even if the world is ending,
Bright even with all the torture.
Within Olympus there is glory and pride in where they stand,
Brightening up the night sky, Full of Stories, Puppeteers of Humans and Masters of Life; Lust, Lovers of the world, The Land of the Gods.
Dubai
by Sophia Nyobuya
The World of Dubai
Home of diversity and adventure and great food
The Hot sun beaming down on the never ending dessert
Skyscraper after skyscraper covering the city along with all the tourists flowing in.
Sunny, hot, glamorous, progressive place
They tell me how Dubai is so glorouse, it has everything that you could ever think of.
Day after day the sun rises and sets, a magical land
They tell me how dubai skyscrapers are so high
The air as fresh as you could ever imagine
In the heart of desert sands are so grand
Dubai, where dream touch the sky
Where modern marvels and traditions lie
Until when you experience the bad side of dubai
Going to sleep on the streets
Being robbed
Being scared to walk the streets alone as a young female
Always having to clutch my bag when in big crowds
Having to honor all the rules and expectations of dubai
A place where future and past agree
Sunny
Glamorous
Modern
Hot
Innovative
Diverse, dynamic, vibrant
Golden dunes meet the azure sea
Sky scrapers pierce the heaven above
Gleaming towers that kiss the skies
To souks that glitter in the night
In a city built with vision and love
Dubai
a jewel, a beacon so bright
A testament to human might
Beneath the sun’s relentless blaze
A city of wonders stands, a maze
Dubai is where dreams materialize
From desert sands to the ocean edge
In Dubai, where reality meets the dream.
