“A Little Bit of Everything” by Ariel Rose, ’24
Family and tradition; its a form of transition
A transition back home
Coming back from college and no longer being alone
Autumn and Fall
To some it’s just another season between summer and winter
A season that’s just stuck there like a splinter
But take a new perspective and give yourself grace
Find a way to give someone or yourself some thanks
Thank yourself, family, or friends
Afterall fall is when school suspends
Jump in the leaves; go for a walk
Go Black Friday shopping! There will be no stopping
Waiting to submit your college applications
Hoping the acceptances come with no limitations
For fall its different for all
People come together; the gathering of family without a doubt
Fall is underrated it’s what really counts
The lead up to Christmas and winter break
Don’t forget about finals; there’s a lot at stake
Fall, it’s full of many traditions
Enjoy yourself and what fall offers
No matter how much the weather changes and scares off the daily walkers!
