How music makes me feel
Thump thump
Thump thump bomb bang
The car vibrates as the music brings it to life.
Making the air feel alive
The voices of the rap and the off-pitches are mixing together.
Creating a new song altogether
Listening to Tupac and Biggie
We were never picky.
As long as the beat was shaking the car,
Our voices were never far away.
How many memories do I have of these songs?
The long road trips
Or parties in the house
The lyrics move your body.
In such an enchanting way
Even if you don’t dance, it makes you sway.
Rap and poetry
Filled with so much emotion.
You always been there for me
So I just want to say thank you.
